The meeting was organized by the Vice-Chancellor of Environment and Spatial Planning, Nikos Kalogeris.<\/p>\n<p>The Vice-Chancellor noted that \u00abthe completion of the Special Environmental Studies and Management plans of the protected areas is an established position of the Region as reflected in the recent Regional Spatial Planning Framework of Crete. We will work with the contractor for a comprehensive result aimed at protecting the natural environment and biodiversity of our island.
