With a document from the Ministry of Environment and Energy to all Contractors of Special Environmental Studies and Management Plans, the current phase of the project is postponed, with a delivery time of November 2020. The reason for the postponement is related to the forthcoming change in the institutional framework for protection areas.<\/p>\n

In particular, as stated in the relevant document: “… in the context of the ‘Modernization of Environmental Legislation’, the Ministry of Environment and Energy is planning changes in the existing institutional framework for protected areas. The changes are expected to be finalized with the passing of the relevant law by the Parliament in the near future, and should be taken into account regarding the ongoing Special Environmental Studies that are being prepared throughout Greece”.<\/p>\n

Given the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and travel bans in order to protect the population, the project team is working remotely on issues related to the study and is at your disposal for communication and cooperation.<\/p>\n
