\nThe proposed Biosphere Reserve \u201cParnon \u2013 Maleas\u201d is a diverse unit which uniquely combines the wealth of nature with human history and activities. It is a region with special characteristics preserved up to this day and which create an important natural and cultural capital for the unity of the region.<\/em>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The aim of the project was to produce a touring exhibition regarding the nomination endeavor for the proposed Biosphere Reserve \u201cParnon \u2013 Maleas\u201d.<\/p>\n

The exhibition includes the following themes:<\/p>\n

i) Information about the\u00a0structure\u00a0<\/strong>and the\u00a0function of Biosphere Reserves<\/strong><\/p>\n

ii) Presentation of the\u00a0Man and the Biosphere Programme<\/strong>\u00a0(MAB)<\/p>\n

iii) Information about the\u00a0Culture<\/strong>,\u00a0Nature\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Human Presence<\/strong>\u00a0in the proposed Biosphere Reserve \u201cParnon \u2013 Maleas\u201d<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Exhibition\u00a0will be utilized in the framework of the communicative campaign of the Management Body of Parnon, Moustos, Mainalon and Monemvasia<\/strong>\u00a0and will be open to the public to support the nomination of the region of Parnon \u2013 Maleas for its inclusion in the World Network of Biosphere Reserves of the MAB Programme, under the guidance and support of UNESCO.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0composition of the nomination file<\/strong>\u00a0for the inclusion of the Biosphere Reserve is implemented by the Regional Development Company of Parnonas (PARNONAS S.A.) in collaboration with the Management Body of Parnon, Moustos, Mainalon and Monemvasia and the technical support of OikoM Ltd.<\/p>\n

The production of the exhibition was created in the framework of the project \u201cSupport for actions of environmental awareness by the Management Body. The case of the Biosphere Reserve Parnon \u2013 Maleas<\/strong>\u201d and more specifically of subproject 3 \u201cProduction and design of a touring exhibition\u201d.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”56357″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
