A historic building in Paramythia, Thesprotia, the Bulgari School is “brought back to life” and transformed into an Exhibition Space of supra-local scope.<\/p>\n

It was built in 1937 following a donation by Sotirios Voulgaris, the founder of the House of Bvlgari. It operated as a primary school until 2009, becoming a cradle of education for many generations of children.<\/p>\n

The school will reopen as a multipurpose space and will implement its mission as a cultural space that promotes the education, training and cultural heritage of Paramythia and the Municipality of Souli.<\/p>\n

Making the most of the modern scientific perspectives and practices, with exhibit surfaces, re-enactments, dioramas, scenographies, digital audiovisual applications and talking portraits, unfolds the narrative of the important “routes and journeys”…<\/strong><\/p>\n

…of Sotiris Voulgaris from Paramythia to the creation of the globally renowned Bvlgari brand,<\/p>\n

\u2026of Nature and Culture, featuring recognized areas and significant landmarks,<\/p>\n

\u2026of the city\u2019s history and its people through the centuries,<\/p>\n

\u2026of the heroism of Souli, which inspired the struggles for freedom worldwide,<\/p>\n

…of the memory of the execution of the 49 dignitaries during the German occupation.<\/p>\n

Members of the Voulgaris family visited Paramythia in August 2023 to support the general project: ertnews<\/a><\/p>\n

A presentation<\/a> was held on 16 November 2023 in Paramythia.<\/p>\n

The project was successfully completed, and the multipurpose space is now ready to welcome visitors, offering them a unique, dynamic, and interactive experience that connects them with the place and its people.<\/p>\n

The “Explore Paramythia” app, developed within the framework of the project, offers the opportunity for an interactive tour of the town of Paramythia, discovering its history, nature, and culture.<\/p>\n
